Jamila is a Shropshire based Artist, specialising in Fine Art Photography and Illustration. She enjoys making candid work, using texture and colour, and often works to a self determined narrative. Jamila is inspired by found objects, domesticity, the people around her and occassionally her dreams. Jamila explores the areas of everyday life that are not usually the focus of attention, skirting between documentary and Art.

Jamila's Fine Art work continues to be exhibited widely. Jamila's work has featured on Fashion bags, various Art Magazines, and Art Books.

In addition to being an exhibiting Artist, Jamila is also involved in Community Arts, commissions and Heritage Projects.
